Daily Bible Verse: The Word says, " Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord, and make a joyful noise to the Lord. These scriptures relate to our daily verse for today.
I have thought long and hard to decide which scripture is my life scripture, and the revelation came to me when I was in prison as Paul was, and we had Christian services and bible studies throughout the week. I had been participating to our Sunday service for a little over a year, and one sunday the Pastor said he wouldn't be at the service next Sunday but asked if I would conduct the service. In fear, I told him I have never done this, and he simply said, just open the bible to a page and pick a scripture and believe by faith that God will direct your words and wisdom. Sunday came and with a nervous heart, I opened up the service with a prayer and the choir sang a couple of songs and God used me to deliver a message of salvation based on God's love. After the service, many of the men and staff said, Jesus, has called you to preach. I humbly thanked them but told them that I will wait on God to reveal my purpose. The next 3 Sundays, with 3 different Pastors, they all preached on one scripture- it was Luke 4:18 that says, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor, He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, and preach the acceptable year of the Lord. My Disciple friends, brothers and sisters, that day God revealed through that scripture that was confirmed 3 times that my purpose is to preach the good news of the gospel, because 4:18 is my birthday, April 18!!!
