My buddy said a Fender, but it all depends on what your budget is.

I tried a bunch of acoustics out in the music store the other day. I was most impressed by the Yamaha ones, though the Cort guitars were pretty good as well. Takamine is always a pretty safe bet. The PRS SE A10E looks pretty awesome as well - I haven't played it but I've been impressed with every PRS SE electric I've picked up, and since the A10E is made in the same factory it should be just as good. Plus it comes with a hard case and has a pickup installed, all for a pretty modest price ($800 bucks here in Oz, you'd probably get it for about $500 or less in the States).

Thanks! I've played my dad's Takimine before, and I love it. It has a very rich, full sound to it.

If you're still looking for an acoustic, check out an Ovation. They have a round back. People swear by them. Takamine is a great guitar, too.

If you're tripping over money all in your house, you might be able to afford a Taylor, or a Martin.

I am so broke at the moment, so I dunno what I'll be able to afford, but I'll keep it in mind, thank you. :)
