Pearl makes good stuff. So does PDP, from my experiences. Having said that, the set you're looking at is a foot in the door. New it's about a $400 set, made from poplar... a light but rather soft hardwood. If I remember right, your top end kits are made from maple or birch. Joey would know much better than me, maybe he or one of the resident drummers on here can chime in?
You'll likely have basic barebones drumheads too, which'll mean 3-flavor-popcorn-can-sounding overtones unless you run some felt strips under the heads. ESPECIALLY with the kick drum. I've cut eggcrate foam to line the kick drum before and it helped a lot.
Personally, I'd think you're better off looking for a used kit by Tama, ddrum, or Pearl's Export or Session series. Even more better off if you find a set with hydraulic(oil-filled) heads. They pretty much eliminate those overtones. That double kick pedal is nice! Plenty of google fodder to be found about it and the drum kit both.
