Im seeing that Brad likes drop tuning on his albums. However a lot of this new album can be done i believe in standard tuning which is all i can mess with at the moment(late night gotta roll to bed) From what i can gather of it in standard tuning tab, I will give you. This is my second post on this forum so i will try to tab it with the --- key, please bear with me and whatever I get wrong please correct for me. Intro it sounds like octaves but could be made to sound with chunky picking on one string...

then it goes to the verse. It sounds like the bass carries alot of the rythmn and the guitar does a higher picking part. If you wanted to strum the chords with the bass it saounds like its D,C,Eb,D up till the bridge and the steady high picking part over the descending bass sounds like this tab..

just kinda alternate mute picking between the two. Then you barrell into the mini bridge either full barre or single string D to C .(probably dont need to tab that) then the chorus as tabbed above. After chorus before second verse it rips into D to C riff again. Now this is where it gets cool. After second chorus it goes into alternate picking riff but just D to C this time not Eb. Then the riff after the slow part i believe is this(i would use thumb on top string)

you have to mute/alternate pick kinda fast to get that cool riff sound. I use my thumb on the 10 and the 8 so I can keep the chord structure in between alternating. After that it goes back to the single string D to C then chorus. Hope this helps. If I get more time I hope to tab the rest of the album. Please understand that i dont usually mess alot with alternate tunings so this tab in standard does sound allright but I believe he is a whole step down then drop D on this album, i just havent messed with that yet. I thought i heaard the low string all the way down to C in rise up, not sure. Anyways, leave feedback if you like, i hope to tab stripped away next. Thanks God bless

ok , i got stripped away figured in standard tuning again. Im still using standard, because my work hours dont permit me sitting down for a long time during the week to figure the tunings, hopefullly the weekend. I really am just putting these out for you guys to jam too until i can take the time to really dig into the licks. I believe from the sound of the guitar that Brad is using Back Again tuning, whole step down drop D I believe. If I m wrong please correct me.. Ok stripped away, The rythmn picking of the first chord is kinda hard for me to tab, but you could listen and play along with the album to figure the picking. Its C minor for the first chord:

Now this is where the timing of the licks is a bit different., to start the chorus you hit the C minor chord twice then quickly jump to the lick im gonna tab(once again listen and play along with album to get the timing of the lick)
ok hit the C minor twice then this lick: (by the way this lick is done with hammer ons, which is picking the note i label then "hammer on" or press with your finger to the next note without picking it.. So if my index finger is pressing down the first note im picking I throw my ring finger onto the next note right after picking the first note, "hammering on" H in the tab is signifying the hammer on)

As you can see it hits the C minor twice then rolls the lick all over. Its a killer lick and sounds good when the hammer ons are smooth and legato-like. Ok thats the chorus and of course it goes back into the C minor riff from above. After the second chorus it slows down and plays the tremolo lick i showed above , but this times its not tremolo but rather muted picking, and its over these chords: Ab, C minor, F , Eb, Then it rips the C minor riff, then back to the bridge: Ab F Bb Eb. Then the C minor twice to the chorus lick. Song ends in C minor lick. Hope this helps, if you guys need more clear definition on something let me know. Im hoping to tab Into Black next.
