I'm kind of obsessed with the kickstarter, I keep checking the total funded through out the day lol.

So I have this extra kidney here I could sell and get one of those bigger perks, oh and an extra lung! That's bound to be enough to get this thing funded lol.

I think it's awesome that they've already raised so much in only a 24 hour period of time! I'll be excited to watch this campaign and see where it goes from here!

So this afternoon I've been thinking of ways I could raise $2000. I would soooo LOVE to have a private acoustic Disciple show in my backyard!!! I'm a consultant for BeautiControl (a company kinda like MaryKay or Avon) so I'm wondering if I work really hard if I'd be able to raise some extra money. Why not dream big, eh?

You just need a credit card/debit card to checkout via Amazon; you can register for an Amazon account for free. You can always make a deal with somebody who has a credit card and have them order it for you and you pay them back in cash.

I'm so excited, they broke $50K on the Kickstarter today! I suggested they make a legit music video at that level; I hope they follow through! The last "real" video they did was "Lay My Burdens" from Horseshoes & Handgrenades and that album was 4 years ago!

Yes thank you Lainie! I asked my dad if I could use his creditcard and immidiatly he just said: 'Okay then". So now soon I'll get a signed CD, free earlier digital songs and a bracelet!!

I know they met their goal, but I find it hard to believe that ONLY 1100 people have pre-ordered the album when they have 186,000+ likes on FB. Even the Alliance FB page has 1600. If only Alliance peeps ordered, there would be 500 more pre-orders than there are...

I don't preorder much, and I want a physical CD instead of just digital. Sometimes I'm just lazy and just buy it at a store. Or I just don't want to spend more on a cd/shirt package that many bands have for preorder. As for Kickstarter, the physical cds packages get a little high sometimes. I Just can't spend 25-30 for a CD sometimes. And I don't always want another shirt.

I know I should preorder more. Its usually a cost thing for me or a procrastinating thing. Disciple is special since I've done 2 preorders for them now.

I know most teenagers probably wouldn't preorder because they don't have a credit card. I usually never preorder anything because it's easier to go to a store and get it once it's out than to explain why I want to use my mom's credit card for a preorder. My mom loves Disciple, so it doesn't take too much convincing for her to let me preorder. But a lot of time is spent figuring out how much my parents will let me give and when it would be best to switch money from my account and stuff. I know a lot of my friends probably wouldn't even ask their parents to do that, because they don't think their parents will let them anyway.

I hadn't even thought of the younger folks. I'm paranoid about computer hacking after the Target thing so that's my first worry ordering online lol.

I have not pre-ordered the new CD yet, either. However, I certainly plan on doing so, and I know that I will purchase the physical CD. However, among people whom are about 20 years or younger than I am, it is a very common practice for them to purchase new music using iTunes, .. or something similar, to purchase individual songs instead of the entire album.
